i knew what i was getting myself into when i started talking to him.

i told him how i just wanted to get away. how i plan on moving to another state sometime in the future. he was upset, asked me why.

i have no family here in texas except for my immediate. i know there’s so much out there in the world than dallas. (i said that sentence so many times tonight) and i just want to experience life. LIVE life. i said maybe i would continue going to school for continuing education class for massage in las vegas. since they’re only offered over there. what’s a year in vegas? what if i moved to washington? where i have amazing and caring relatives over there. maybe California. but anyways, point is, i know he wouldn’t leave his 3 year old anytime in the near future. maybe anytime at all really. and he confirmed that. and i don’t expect him to.

i told him how much more i’ve started to realize that he’s in a situation that’s not going to change until maybe next year. which is a good 8 months from now. i don’t have time to wait. i won’t put myself through that torture and i’m probably not going to. he said he was sorry for forcing me to stay. no one forced me to stay with him. i chose to. and i can choose to leave him also. he asked me, if i knew that he lived with his baby’s mom when he started talking to me, if we would’ve been where we were today. i told him “no, i wouldn’t have even started talking to you.” funny how things DONT work out. i also told him that i honestly thought in the beginning that this wasn’t gonna go far at all… funny huh.

what is this thing i’m somewhat pursuing…

“i’m not going to claim you as my boyfriend because i can’t introduce you to my family as my boyfriend” is exactly what i told him a month ago. i’m not going to introduce him, because i’m not going to be in the situation where i have to explain HIS situation which obviously makes me look stupid. and i told him that. all this time, i wouldn’t dare call him my boyfriend to anyone. parent approval is a big deal for me. and he won’t cut it if he lives with another woman.

i’m not scared to let it out now. who am i hiding from? who really cares anyway? nobody. no one really cares, so why should i? people are gonna end up doing what they want in the end anyway, without anyones approval and without anyone else’s 2 cents. i ALWAYS ask for people’s opinion on things before i do them but it’s mostly because i’m curious i guess.

& about the boy who i’ve known since 7th grade, it was a pleasure, but can’t fight for something when the other person isn’t willing. means there’s nothing there to fight for actually. so there, that last sentence is what’s gonna get me through.

To give up and stop trying relies on yourself. Constantly attempting something over and over again would be found under the word insanity. Is that what you are looking to do? If so keep doing it and believe in yourself, that with hard work within yourself anything can happen. If its not that then I suggest you evaluate what makes you want to keep trying and what makes you give up? There is no cause without effect. And most importantly what is there left to gain? Our lives are all about growing.
